PortsByD – A very simple construct. It stands for Portraits by Dalma. Portrait photography has been my big love from the very start, so it is only logical to highlight it.

Hello my dear,

My name is Dalma and I’m truly glad you’ve found your way here.

For over a decade, I’ve been captivated by the magic of portraits and weddings. What began as a personal admiration has grown into a deep passion. There’s just something magical about freezing those real, emotional moments in time—and over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to turning that passion into something truly special. Funny enough, my path didn’t start with photography. I studied English and American Studies, then went on to get my Master’s in Interpreting. While doing that, I worked as Head of Recruitment for one of Austria’s top hospitality companies. So yeah—I’ve always been a people person! But it was my love for human connection (mixed with a bit of introverted energy) that led me to photography. I found so much joy in observing those around me and capturing people just as they are, in their best light.

Today, I specialize in creating heartfelt, timeless images that tell real stories—whether it’s the quiet intimacy of a portrait or the joyful chaos of a wedding celebration. My style is authentic, personal, and natural. I’m here to bring your vision to life no matter where you are in the world.
